Rebirth Guide

Rebirth is the prestige button on the HUD of +1 Speed Ninja Keyboard Escape. It looks like a sacrifice because your current movement speed snaps back down. It is usually the correct click the moment it unlocks. Players who wait for a round number, a prettier Trail, or a stage they almost finished are the ones who lose hours.

This page is only about this ninja keyboard place. Candy Keyboard Escape prestige rules do not apply. There is no dash charge to preserve and no wallrun rank to protect.

What Rebirth actually resets

Rebirth resets current speed. That is the integer you watched climb while walking keys or sitting a Treadmill. After the click you are slow again in the raw number, then every new step is worth more because a permanent multiplier landed.

Treat in-progress stage attempts as reset too. If you are mid-parkour and the button is available, Teleport to a safe pad, rebirth, and start the stage on the new multiplier. Finishing one more gap at the old speed is almost never worth delaying the prestige. Layout skill carries over in your hands; the run itself does not need to be sacred. How to re-learn a layout after a reset is on the Stage Walkthrough.

Rebirth does not wipe the server. You stay on the same 22-player instance unless you hop. Other ninjas will keep racing while you are slow for a minute. That minute is the tax. Pay it.

What you keep after Rebirth

You keep Wins. You keep Trails. You keep Treadmills. You keep Katanas. Those four lines are why rebirthing early is cheap. The Shop investments you already made continue to work on the next lap. A cheap trail bought before the first prestige is still equipped after it. A mill you paid Robux for is still a mill.

VIP stays. Permanent speed passes stay. Group join bonuses stay. Daily Rewards streaks are a login calendar, not a speed integer, so they are not the thing Rebirth is taxing. Claim Day 1 or Day 7 around a rebirth rather than skipping the calendar because you were busy staring at the prestige button. Calendar details are on Daily Rewards.

Badges already earned stay. JOINED does not pop off. FIRST REBIRTH is awarded on that first press and then it is yours. FINISH and PERFECTIONIST are separate collection goals and are not consumed by prestige.

If a later update ever adds a reset exception, it will show up in patch notes. Until then, plan with the simple split: current speed goes away, multipliers and currencies stay.

FIRST REBIRTH badge and early timing

FIRST REBIRTH is a timestamp, not a trophy wall. It exists to mark that you understood the loop once. Take it in the first session if the button appears. There is no secret extra reward for delaying it until you own Rainbow or OWNER cosmetics.

Why immediate is usually correct:

  • The multiplier applies to every future step and every future mill tick. Minutes spent at the old rate are minutes the new rate never sees.
  • Wins income from stages scales with how quickly you can reach stage-ready speed again. A rebirth that looks like a setback is often a shorter path back to the same stage at a higher multiplier.
  • Event tags such as [X125 speed / X3 trophies] make delay even worse. If a spike is live, rebirth through the spike so the multiplier captures the event, then walk or mill. Event windows are covered on How to Get Speed Fast and admin abuse.

The rare case for waiting a few minutes is practical, not mathematical: you are one jump from a stage clear that pays Wins you will spend on a trail immediately after prestige, and you already have the button unlocked. Finish that one stage, buy the trail, then rebirth. Do not extend that excuse into a whole extra mill session.

New accounts should still do the Getting Started clicks — Free Gift, favorite, group, Day 1 — before obsessing over prestige. The button will still be there. Codes remain unconfirmed; do not stall rebirth waiting for a gift code on Codes.

When waiting is a mistake

Waiting is a mistake when you are holding the button because the current-speed number looks like a personal record. That record is a vanity integer. The leaderboard cares about the account that rebirths, shops, and clears stages, not about a single un-prestiged spike.

Waiting is a mistake when you are AFK on a high mill and “just one more minute” becomes an hour. If you use optional automation, read auto rebirth so the click is not the thing you forget. The intended design is still a HUD button you are willing to press while looking at it.

Waiting is a mistake when you are shopping for a Katana you cannot afford yet and using “after this blade” as a rebirth delay. Blades persist. Prestige, farm Wins faster, then buy the blade. Rank later purchases on the katanas tier list.

Rebirth is the loop’s punctuation mark. Hit it when it lights up, keep your Wins and cosmetics, and start the next sentence on the keys already multiplied. The players who treat FIRST REBIRTH as a delayed ceremony are the ones still walking their original speed while everyone else has already stacked the next multiplier.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What does Rebirth reset?

Current movement speed. Wins, Trails, Treadmills, and Katanas stay. Pair the click with the walking plan on How to Get Speed Fast.

When should I take the first Rebirth?

As soon as the HUD button is available. Getting Started puts that press in the first-hour checklist on purpose.

Does FIRST REBIRTH require a special Katana or VIP?

No. The badge drops on the first prestige click. VIP and blades are separate spends ranked on the katanas tier list.

Should I finish a stage before I Rebirth?

Only if you are one jump from Wins you will spend immediately. Otherwise Teleport out, prestige, and reclear using the Stage Walkthrough.

Can scripts press Rebirth for me?

Some players automate the click. That is optional and separate from the intended HUD loop; see auto rebirth if you go that route.
